Submission to Geochemical Journal is taken to mean that all the listed authors have agreed all the content. The corresponding author is responsible for having ensured that this agreement has been reached.
Manuscripts for the Journal should be submitted online by the corresponding author at https://www.editorialmanager.com/gj/. Authors, of any nationality, not necessarily members of the Geochemical Society of Japan are welcomed. Only papers not previously published will be accepted, and emphasis is placed upon originality and novelty. The text should be clear and concise, and detailed technical descriptions shall be given only when the methods are new.
Manuscripts should be written in English and should be typed with double spacing. Total length should not exceed 6 pages in print, including figures and tables. Six printed pages can accommodate approximately 5,500 words. The length should be adjusted taking into account of the size of figures and tables. For instance, one figure (80 × 100 mm in size) is equivalent to approximately 230 words. Each manuscript should be organized in the following order: title, author's full name, affiliation, abstract, five keywords, text, acknowledgment, appendix, references. An abstract of not more than 250 words is requested. The abstract should be informative and include the principal findings and conclusions. PDF proofs will be sent to the author by e-mail, to be checked for printer's errors. After checking proofs, authors should send a list of corrections. References should be given in the text by quoting the author's name and the year of publication, i.e., Scott (1993). Full references should be listed in alphabetical order at the end of each paper. A template of EndNote is available at http://endnote.com/downloads/style/geochemical-journal.
